Active reinforcement and foundation plate construction works are in progress on Maly Ice Palace in Sochi. These works are planned to be finished in autumn of 2010. At the same time reinforcement of the basement floor walls is in progress.

Construction of new neighborhoods in Sochi for the migrants is now it the active phase. Immovable property of the migrants is subject to withdrawal due to the Olympic venues construction.

Almost 700 meters of the pipeline through which, in case of necessity, water will be delivered to the fire source, is laid in the stylobate part of the sports facility. The total length of pipes will amount to 32 kilometers.

The representatives of SC Olympstroy, RZD, OJSC, Russian Student Squadrons movement and the Mayor of the city of Sochi took part in the term closing ceremony. In the solemn atmosphere certificates of merit and memorable gifts were handed over to the best and most active student squadrons.

The territory of construction is located in the north-western part of the Imereti lowland, in close proximity to the railway station being constructed. Now the work on installation of artificial footing for foundations with the application of special materials and equipment is performed at the facility.
