The Supervisory Board of SC «Olympstroy» was established by Federal Law No.238-FZ dated 30.10.2007 «On the State Corporation on construction of Olympic Venues and Development of Sochi City as a Mountain Climatic Resort» and it shall be the Corporation’s highest management body. The Supervisory Board’s number and staff have been approved by the RF Government decree No.1604-r dated 12.11.2007 (as revision of the Russian Federation Government’s decree No.1091-r dated 30 July 2008). The Supervisory Board of State Corporation for building Olympic Venues and developing Sochi city as a mountain climatic resort shall consist of 16 members and include the following persons:

The Federal Law No.238-FZ dated 30.10.2007 gave the status, granted the powers and authorities and provided procedure to hold the Supervision Board meetings. The meetings of Corporation’s Supervision Board shall be called by chairperson thereof when required but not less then one-time per quarter. The Supervision Board’s general powers and authorities shall include as follows: to accept procedures and regulations governing Corporation’s basic activity, to approve Corporation’s reports and financial forecast for Corporation’s profits and losses for next fiscal year, to approve annual list of sites to be built. Besides this, the Supervisory Board shall make decisions on appointment, cancellation of powers and authorities of the Corporation Board’s members, it shall appoint on the post and make decision to cancel powers and authorities of the chairperson and of other members of Inspection Commission of the Corporation and shall perform other powers and authorities provide by mentioned federal law and by other federal laws.

The Supervisory Board activity was specified by Schedule of works to be done by Supervision Board approved in the Supervisory Board’s first meeting held on 14—19 November 2007.

From the time of forming of the Corporation’s Supervision, the Supervision Board held 15 meetings in which the following 23 documents have been approved pursuant to Federal Law No.238-FZ:
