Sergey Gaplikov – President, State Corporation «Olympstroy»

Born 29 April, 1970 in Frunze.

Graduated from the N. Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He continued his post-graduate education at the Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the RF Ministry for Economic Development.

Prior to joining SC “Olympstroy”, Sergey Gaplikov held a number of positions at the RF Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.  2004-2010: Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic. 2010 – 2011: Deputy Chief of the Executive Office, RF Government.

In 2011 Sergey Gaplikov was appointed President of the SC «Olympstroy», State Corporation on construction of Olympic venues and development of the city of Sochi as a mountain climate resort. He is Chairman of the Board and a member of the Supervisory Council of the Corporation, and also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.

Married, has a son and a daughter.
